Overwatch All-Nighter!

BOOK YOUR SEAT(S)

Overwatch drops on May 24th and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve already had a great time playing the beta and we’re planning a whole bunch of events supporting the game. First up we’re running an All-Nighter session on Friday 27th May dedicated to Overwatch. It’s a great chance to get some six stacks going, smash some noobs and meet other local players. Book your seats fast because this one is sure to sell out!
Please note that we will have a limited number of house accounts available for customer use (because its the sort of game people want to own themselves). You can tell us on the booking form if you need to use one of our house accounts. First in best dressed when it comes to these!

Reload eSports CSGO Autumn Cup

*INTERSTATES WELCOME – INTERSTATES CAN REQUEST TO PLAY ON SUNDAY ONLY*

REGISTER YOUR TEAM HERE

The Barracks, Reload Bar & Games & Reload eSports announce the Canberra CSGO Autumn Cup! Our latest CSGO event will follow much the same format as previous ones but with a small change to allow easier entry for interstate teams and a more focused, bigger and better stream and specator experience.

-Up to 4 group stages prior to finals. Group stage times TBA but expect Thurs evening (we have an overwatch event on Friday), Sat morning, Sat afternoon, and Sun morning.
-Interstate teams will be able to request Sunday group stage games, so they don’t have to stay overnight. Be advised that max 2 teams per group go thru to finals so if there are lots of interstates in the Sunday gruop then they will be competing against each other for placings. Interstates are of course welcome to play in sat gruops provided they can sort out accommodation overnight.
-Finals on Sunday afternoon with dedicated spectator event & live stream featuring food, drinks, casters, interviews and prize giveaways. Free entry to spectator event for all comp participants
-Entry fee $150 per team. Up to 2 subs allowed. Subs must be registered to team before the team plays any games.
-Prize pool of half the entry fees taken – goal is $1500+ for 20+ teams.
-More info to be announced closer to the date, for now keen up, sign up and scrim up.

Planetside 2 Server Stack – Thursday 28 April

Planetside 2 has always been a popular game at The Barracks but one that we’ve never given much love to – mostly because it’s hard to run a comp for a game with so many players!

Well, we decided we don’t need to run a comp to throw a fun event for players of SOE/Daybreak’s free MMOFPS – we can just get a whole bunch of players into the same room, stack a server, and try to dominate it all night with a massive crew.

JOIN THE FACEBOOK EVENT HERE

Join us this Thursday 28 April for our first ever Planetside 2 server stack. All are welcome, from veterans to new players. Maybe you’re an experienced player looking to meet friends to play with, or maybe you’re interested in the game but haven’t given it a try yet. Come along, meet new players, learn more about the game (or pass on your skills), and most importantly have a great time!

Entry fee: $15 for 7pm – midnight of Planetside 2 gaming
No booking required – first in best dressed on the night.
Pizza available – order on arrival
Cold drinks, snacks and munchies available
